Dear Club Members,

I hope this letter finds you all doing well during these strange times we are living in. I wanted to take an opportunity to catch you up on some club news.

First and foremost, life member Bob Chase has stepped down as President of the club after serving 33 years as an officer and 35 years as a member. He will continue to serve as a Director for at least the next year. Bob is looking forward to focusing more on his heath and family. Bob is an icon of the Farmington Fish and Game Club and lifelong sportsman. His leadership and dedication have served the club tremendously. We thank him for his selfless service and wish him the best!

Rose Ham has finished her long tenure as Membership Coordinator. Rose has done the thankless work of the club keeping things moving behind the scenes for quite some time. She worked tirelessly for years keeping up with the daily correspondence and tasks the position demands. We are so thankful for everything she has done for all of us on the Executive Committee and the club membership. We wish her the best and good health!

Rose has worked closely with Christy Painchaud, mentoring her on the Membership Coordinator duties for some time now. Christy is running full speed ahead after having been nominated and voted to the position.

Club Officers, Directors, Range Safety Officers, and others serve the club as VOLUNTEERS. They dedicate many hours monthly keeping the club running. Without them, the club ceases to operate. We thank them for their hard work and continued dedication.

I am humbled to have been nominated by Bob Chase and voted as Club President recently. I am excited to serve and look forward to getting back to business in these post COVID-19 times we still endure.

I am excited to announce we will be opening up NEW MEMBERSHIPS again very soon. When this rolls out, it will also include an easy way for expired members to renew without any hassle. We know there are many people out there waiting to join (or renew) and we are working hard on the solution that you will see soon. More to follow on that!

Effective this month (March), the Executive Committee will resume normal monthly club business meetings. The Executive Committee consists of the club Officers and Directors. This summer, we hope to resume normal monthly club membership meetings as well.

If you are not aware, the club is functional and the ranges are running as normal and events are on tap and scheduled. Be sure to check the website and club Facebook page for special events and club news.

I’m looking forward to seeing you out at the club!

Very Respectfully,

Adam A. Painchaud, President
